Fuel pump wont prime

I got a 2001 mustang gt i just baught.... On my way driving it it just cut off.... Get towed home...i notce i dont here the fuell pump.
So i change the fuell pump and still it doesnt prime ....i checked the connection switch in trunk and reset it ...still nothing . i here a click from the relay under pass fender.
Naw i found a wire that loose coming from behind the motor...its brown and red and needs to be plugged up somewhere but dnt knw where

I just looked at my 2001 GT and the only wires that look close to that in that area plug in as seen in the picture. You might check the fuel pump fuse also. If fuse is good depress the schrader valve on the front of the right side fuel rail and see if you have fuel pressure.

If this were my car, I would FIRST focus on the battery, battery cables, and battery terminals.

Cover the basics. Powers and ground to the PCM.

Does the check engine light come on during key on?

Hello lets start with I have a 97 mustang gt v8 standard I had new engine transmission ect put all new well last month i shut the car off and had no power at all bought a new battery and alternator got all power back but it wont ignite brought to mechnic for a month all sensors codes ect are fine
