well there just the two bolts holding up the straps then the tank will come down.. I would spray the rubber filler neck seal on the side of the tank with like power lube or wd40 something like that to help the filler neck come out of the tank.. Its deffinitly an easy job to do, you should have no problem with it.. Just when lowering tank go slow and make sure you don't pull any fuel lines or wires, don't wanna damage them... Also if you can get one if you have the extra money replace that filler neck seal because they get dry rotted and crack, then you may get a leak after disturbing it. Just look at it and you'll be able to tell if it's bad.. good luck
