I would not mess wth it. get a SVT Focus pump, cheaper and more reliable

edit: nvm - i read his post then saw his user name and thought he had a 96 cobra, not 2000 gt

Some of this will depend on if you've maxed your fuel system already... if you have significant fuel pressure drop off as the rpms climb, then I think an SVT focus pump will benefit you. The last thing you want it to start detonating @ 5000+ rpm. That being said, I can't comment on the BBK pumps, but if for some reason you decide to go that route, be sure you get a pump for a returnless fuel system.

Are you getting fuel pressure drop off at WOT? If not, you have no worries yet....If you do have drop off, then you want to look at fuel system upgrades. Larger injectors, and a better pump. Depending on how much HP you are going for you can use the Focus SVT pump which will handle up to 450hp along with 42lbs injectors.

#1 the thing is i already have the pump but its not installed and i got it for free so i guess it wouldnt hurt except my wallet on gas if i upgrade injectors and #2 i have sputter that feels like a drop of boost between 3-4 shift on WOT, when i smash it, it has a second where it falls on its face(and its not T/C), only gauge i have is boost and it drops but not to zero or vaccum, seems normal like a normal drop like every other shift so im guessing it could be fuel pressure, i need to get a guage or i can ge the WDS from my dealership and watch PIDS

damn, nice numbers! ...get your fuel pressure checked for sure. I don't know squat about the particular pump...but if you need it, use it.

All i know is that you cant use the return style pumps on the returnless systems. it will burn the pump up in a heartbeat
