Is there an easy way to take off the metal pipe that runs from the water pump to the firewall, which also happens to run over the fuel rail?

It turns out that it may have not been fuel injectors causing the poor gas mileage and poor performance. I had a huge hole in the pcv line on the passenger side.

All done.

The EGR was a pain to work around, and I ended up having to bend it slightly to access the fuel rail on the passenger side only to run into the problem of getting it to line back up with upper intake. I should've just blocked it all off, but I wasn't sure how to block off the EGR tube in the exhaust manifold. My cousin has several egr plates, but I didn't want exhaust blowing out through that hole ;-)

I can't really tell a difference, but I'll know if I fixed the problem when I fill up again.
