Fuel Rail Disconnect?

How do i disconnect the fuel rails from my car? i have a tool thats supposed to disconnect the rails but i cant figure out how to separat the rails.

also will my fuel pressure stay the same if i dont touch the adjustment nut on the regulator when i take it off of the car?

With your fuel rail disconnect tool, stick it in the back side of the fuel rail (by the manifold) once the correct size is inserted, just pull the rails away from each other. Yes fuel pressure should remain the same.

Sometimes they require some muscle to get them apart especially if they've never been removed. Mine took a bit of time but they did come apart eventually.

What are you doing? If its injectors or something like that you can leave the lines connected. You can leave the reg. on the rail if you are not replacing it.

i am taking my lower intake off and getting my heads ported
