I am ready to put a 5.0 fuel injected engine in my 66. I had already planned to add the return line to the fuel sender plate by brazing in a tube. I had seen this in another conversion article I found while researching the swap. I read a few days ago about someone on the forum that they added the return to the tank drain. Any advice on which one to go with, and any problems experienced?

Thanks

I have run my regulator return line back to the tank drain hole with no problems. Either place should work fine.

yup either place is fine.

I like the sender way but to each his own.

Whatever you find easier because when I did I could not remove the drain plug.
