I't about time for me to replace my fuel sending unit on my 87 GT. Do i need to buy the factory replacement or can i buy one of those generic Ohm rated ones? What Ohms range do i need? I don't want to spend $80 on a unit if i don't have to. Any one have any ideas?
Well, not sure about the ohms, but I would upgrade to a name brand one, not a generic one for sure. If you have time, do a good search on this board or the web for ideas, and get a good one.
