fuel system ok?

went to the track again and ran a few more 14s but i picked up a few more mph with the 70mm maf but no better et.

i've been wondering lately if the stock fuel system is ok with my mods? P heads/intake (with stock cam, injectors, fuel pump). I've been searching and i dont really know what #s i should be putting down with this combo because there's such a wide range (i see 250-280rwhp) and i dont know if i need to upgrade. The car runs fine cruisin around the street but is still running e7 times. (i'm still getting used to the new combo and all but i expected more by now i guess)

best was like 14.0-14.1 @99or100

best so far with P heads/intake

ran a 14.2@101 last night

60fts are generally in the 2.0 range sometimes a 1.9. nitto 555r drags with little to no burnout because it doesnt seem to matter much. shift around 5300-5500.

i know the car needs an alignment, and i'm having trouble with a 1-2 shift so tranny troubles are there. These are causing time loss but i had these same problems last year and was running the same times.

i guess i just expected the addition of heads and an intake to give me enough power to bring me to a 13.9.

is the stock fuel system ok for this combo?

GEARS! I took my 82 Capri with 308s from 13.9 to 13.4 best ET with 373s. I still need to work on my 60 foot times with tires and setup but its getting better.
