full motor swap??

The swap is pretty straight forward and fairly simple.......there is more too it then you have listed though. The best thing to do is use the search functions and youll get tones of threads with alot of info that will help you with this swap. Good Luck!!

If you're getting a complete engine down to the accessories, you'll probably just need a few things here and there. You'll need a complete fuel system, but for the sake of replying, I'm sure you're aware of that, and just mean from the major mechanical aspect of doing it. In that case, all you should really need is what you mentioned, although a new trans, rear end, and brakes should be on the list, too. You may also need a new hood for clearance, unless you're able to get an air cleaner with a low enough profile to clear the hood, or drop mounts. You may need a combination of the two, but I can't speak from experience, so I'll let someone who has actually done the swap chime in here.

i would yank the fuel injected fuel lines and replace with 3/8 line.

i know that if you look in the back of a summit magazine under the 5.0/4.6 section, then look at the exhaust for it, BBK makes a set of swap headers.

If you're running the high pressure efi in-tank pump a return-reg. you can stay with the smaller fuel line. If you're gonna use the mechanical pump that's on the carbed 351, then I'd upgrade to a larger fuel line back to the tank. I'd think you'd want to do the latter as you'll have to replace the in-tank pump from the 4 cyl. model to one with more capacity to feed the 351. Simply running a larger fuel line is gonna be much less expensive than 1) replacing the pump, and 2) adding the return-reg.

As far as the fuel system goes there is alot of different ways you can go. I converted from Fuel Injection to carb as well so I'll briefly describe what I did in my case. I removed ALL the factory lines to start off. I kept the factory tank and purchased a drop in fuel tank pick up from Mallory (PN#4205). The pick up is built for use with a -10AN Supply line and a -6AN Return Line. In my case a -6 return line was not big enough so I easily modified it so I could use a -10 return line....I'm not sure what kind of HP your making but if it's a fairly mild 351W the -6 return line will work fine. If you want to save some money and choose not to run braided hose and AN fitting's you can easily purchase a couple of adapter fittings so you can run steel line or whatever you choose. From the pickup I ran the -10 line to an Aeromotive Fuel Filter and then to the Electric Aeromotive Street Rod fuel pump which I mounted on the rear bumper beam between the fuel tank. I then ran the supply line to an Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator....After the regulator I ran a -8 line to an inline Aeromotive F/Filter which I had mounted to the Carb Inlet Line. And of course just run your return line from the regulator back to the tank. There is alot of other ways you can go, but I felt this was the best way. (Next to running a sumped tank which I eventually will do) If you have any more question's feel free to ask....I'd be glad to help.
