A full tune up from a shop is somewhere from 100-200 bucks. Now i have never had a shop do a tune up on my car EVER. But shop time is about 75-85an hour here in washington. And you would get a "Full tune up" i would think you would get...
Spark plugs
Air filter
Oil change
Oil filter
Anti-frezze
Check the tranny fluid
Check diff fluid
Windshield wiper fluid topped off
And your windows cleaned LOL
Maybe a free vacuum..
One arm, and both your legs . No really, just do the job yourself. It might take a day or two but it'll save you TONS. A few weeks ago I had my car smogged, and they were charging this guy $600 for the "30k mile tune up" . When the salesman read off the list of labor done, I laughed my ass off. They charged all that money just for a coolant flush, tranny flush, oil change, and a few other simple maintenance repairs. And this wasn't a dealership. So, just do the work yourself. I would:
Flush the coolant
Change tranny fluid (especially if it's an auto)
Install new PCV, IAC, fuel filter, intake filter
Change the oil/filter
