Fun free car game to help pass the time

This one's an oldy, but
Thought this might be relivent when i noticed that when you go into the view engine specs section the guy who created the game drew a 99+ 4.6 engine bay from a stang as the model.

i have it on my desktop but the place i DL'd it from no longer exists.

on a 3000GT!!! lol, i dropped a 5.0 DOHC 32 valve engine in it and now it's 1270hp and 1626tq

heres the engine bay that took me like 20 times of seeing it b4 i realized:

the key to making any super car in this game is to start off w/ a car that has low friction and weight then when you go far enough and are allowed to drop diff engines in it you do. I remmeber having an Jag XK8 w/ an LS2 V8 running 4.9's. The trick is all in the gearing lengths that you tune yourself

yeah, iv won every pink slip race. but it's still fun dropping S/C V6's in MR2's and 426 hemi's into WRX's

I suck at this game....im running like 17s @ 65MPH in a stock S2000. That cant be right...what am I doing wrong here. And since when does an S2000 redline @ 7K?

head and cam will work for that , then it will redline a lot higher, it's a tuner game. Ur not supposed to race them stock

Yea I got a bit better. Did alot of work to an RSX and got it trapping mid 90s. Gears is just SOOO touchy though...wish I could have a v8 at the get go Darn 4 banger powerbands suck LOL.

yeah turn the power and temp and rpm ranges up so that when u go into high rpm's it keeps the temp down so you dont blow an engine. Also if one gear is too short or when you shift into a gear it's not in the power band (light red) then change it in the tune shop

yeah i have everything on my s2000 and it redlines at 9.5k and traps at 150 in the quarter. fastest car i beat was the comp. viper

once you beat some tourneys then you'll be able to buy the next class of cars i believe. Then once u win against the 1st 30 comps in single races then u can drop diff engines in the carc i think. Once you get really far u can race for pinks and win, cuz when you do they max out the hp and tq capabilities of the comp and lil celicas are running 9's

my zed oh six w/ a 60 degree V-12 just ran a 5.44, if i shift at a diff time in 3-4 or change the gearing it only runs a 8.9 lol

Edit: just beat out the saleen S7 for $67k in a lime green CRX

i think its version 1 anyways. And i think it gave me a virus...

I used to love this game, i had an S7 that ate up the competition... Something fun to play over the holidays
