I got the tach and shift light seperately, and im wiring them up this weekend. I had already had the shift light wired when the car ran, so i understand the basics of that, my question is this:
Tach - green wire, white wire, red wire, black wire
Shift Light - Green wire, red wire, black wire
Can i splice the green wire from each and run that to the tach output on my msd 6al box?
The shift light is a stand alone version that isnt wired in with the tach if you see what i mean. The shift light takes those pills that determine your shift point. im just wondering if i can splice the 2 green wires, and run them to the tach output, wil that be the same as if the tach and shift light came together as one unit???
