I've seen many strange applications in my long life but this one may be the most bizarre. Someone spent an incredible amount of time to devalue a car. I might say penny wise and pound foolish, but this creation is even worse than that.

And how much cheaper would it have been to throw together a mild 360...?

What a waste...

I've seen stuff like this in the past, and always shake my head.

My old landlord long ago had a corvette stingray with a 4cyl in it. I think it was one of the ones that come out of the little 80s blazers. He did it to save gas, and he said the v8 was too "scary".

Why in the fark someone would buy a corvette if they were afraid of the power? Amazing.

Worst part was, he didn't even keep the LT1 around, sold it years before I talked to him. It's still running around today in Forest Grove. Has an exhaust leak and really turns some heads. Complete moron.

My understanding is it is a skyline engine in the mustang. Something about the guy couldn't win drifting with a 390 in the stang I believe. Though to know the whole story I would have to rent or buy the movie. And I think we can all agree on the value of that.

It wasnt THAT bad, the Stang he got from his dad IN japan had no engine/tranny, and the rice racer was wrecked but had a good engine/tranny. He did the same thing hot rodders have been doing for years, building cars with availible parts.
