About a week or so ago I was driving in a pretty hot day and the #15 fuse blew on my car. I tried to replace it and it just blew again. It only blows if the car is running, or if I try to start it.

Have any suggestions of what to check?

Thanks

it controls the low colant and oil modules (what ever those are??), the seat belt chim, and the instument gauges(operation).

When I bought the car the seat belt wire was disconnected, so I don't know if that has anything to do with my problem, but I looked in the Chilton and Haynes manual for that curcuit and could not find it. Does anyone have any info on this ?? I tried looking at it today and hooked up an Amp meter to it, as I did that some sparks flew and then I tried it once more and nothing happened. Do you think it has something to do with a static charge or something?? I just have no idea where to start, and I am getting pretty fed up with my car right now. I am having trouble with a new alarm systems power doorlocks and also my car is dying at idle after it is nice and warmed up.

Thanks for the help!!!

I found were the low coolant and oil switches are located, but I don't know how to check to see if they are functioning, can anyone help me???

Should I just unplug them and try to see if the fuse blows, or should I use a multi meter to check them??

i think it was my #15 that was blowing....well whatever controled the dash lights.
whenever i tried to turn on the headlights the fuse blew...it turned out to be a bad headlight switch....it was a fried contact.
so theres a short some place.
