Please take a look at the picture of my fuse panel and let me know if this is correct. It is presently at about a 45 degree angle, but the metal plate does not show any creases or other evidence of being bent. It will move a little bit (maybe 5 to 10 degrees) fore and aft if you push it. It's close to your leg while driving, but I haven't scraped anything - yet. My wife thinks it is not right, and I'm wondering now also. Don't know anybody with a fox body around here, and I hate to ask strangers for a peek - they might find that a tad strange. Should this thing be horizontal, vertical or is it about normal?????
The fuses are behind the black pull-off cover. Am I missing some other piece that covers all this up?? My other cars all have a removable panel built right into the lower dash. This thing just seems to.... hang there, below the dash, all too conspicuously. And... the bracket is upside down, you say?? I'll take another close look............
Someone just bent the bracket. Mine was like this when I first bought my car. Just push it back up and you will be fine.
I'll push it back to a more horizontal state and be done with it. Someone must have bent it down so it would be easier to get to. I'd hate to catch the corner of that thing on my leg, especially while wearing shorts.
