Well Guys sittin aroung waiting to ship out to airforce bootcamp, so i am broke and bored this means i can only think about the car and not work on it. I am pretty happy with the way but you all know these things are never done so i know a few things i am gonna do and would like input on a few other

1. A 5 lug swap and brake upgrade is first is was thinking Baer, i think they have a complete conversion setup, but i would love to hear about experiances with other setups

2. New wheels not sure what if some one could photoshop a few on that would be great i was thinking 03 cobra, bullits, or maybe the new gt500 wheel, or what ever would look good

3. 5sp conversion maybe 6sp even not sure need the tranny to hold up to 450 or so as i will try to find the limits of the stock block in the future, i may stay auto with the right convincing any lentech user's out there that can share experiance would be great

4. Interior and body the inside will be getting new carpet and maybe a new headliner but i want to keep it black and grey, and lastly the body it needs some work i never had time to 100% it after the wreck, i may ditch the side skirts in favor of something else, but i love the saleen front, and i want it to always be a lx i like the cobra stuff but don't want a clone ideas chops what ever

Lose the rear bumper!

Sorry, can't stand the "tail pipe through the bumper" look, unless its on an original 66.

Go with the slotted rotors, as opposed to drilled. The drilled ones look nice, but have lots of problems with tiny little cracks and fractures in the rotor.

1.) For the 5-lug tunedin can prolly chime in about the baer kit, or you can peice a budget kit together for under 300 using 95spindles etc and ranger axles which I have done 3 times.

2.)Please dont do gt500 wheels the look horrible on foxbodys I am sure someone can post up a pic. I think 03 cobras would look good.

3.)5spd is fun all i can say on that subject

4.) Personally I would go for the complete saleen kit do the sideskirts and rear bumper that would look great.

production 05 gt's. you can get them cheap cheap. not to mention if you want to go bullitts, i'd suggest s197's saleen is selling the bullitt takeoffs for $300 with tires!

go with the baer kit thats the one i got the kit was nice easy to put together and the directions were clear and concise.

For the tranny I have a Lentech AOD I love it. Its the best auto I've seen. It had the OD lockout so the downshifts arent hard with that. It doesnt skip gears like the regular AODs have. Its nice but, I bought my car with it. I'm switching to a 6 speed in the middle of next year if anyone wants the tranny.

thanks superstang, i am going in as a e-3 with becuase of my college credit and as of now i am mec-44 which is the apptitude area i can get away with this becuae i am tier one and my asvab scores are high enough that i will get exactly what i want, or at least a job that serves my post military goals, oh and thanks for the boot camp pep talk
