Im sick of it. I want to sit straight up and look normal. Is it common for these fox seats to have a lean to the right side of the drivers seat. I want to sit straight and it keeps sucking me to the right side. I took out the seat and couldnt find any problems.

yes it is VERY common and it is easily fixed. just go to the parts store and get a big nut or a bunch off washers and stack them under the right side off the seat legs until you get the desired height. the nut can serve the same purpose. and if you run out of threads on your bolt get one to match it out off a bolt bin at lowes or somewhere that has the same thread pattern and use it.

The seat problems come in two categories:
1.) The floor pan that holds the front seat mounts cracks and allows the stud that secures the seat to pull out. I recommend that you take two L shaped pieces of 16 gauge steel and overlap the damage. Cut and fit one "L", drill the bolt hole and the weld a bolt in the hole that is for the missing stud. Then weld it in place. The repeat the cut and fit of the next "L" and weld it in place.

2.) The seat back frame cracks and splits. I riveted mine with some solid monel rivets. You can weld the frame if you don't a have a rivet gun and steel rivets. Removing the head rest is the difficult part. See http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=478804&highlight=seat and you'll find pictures and instructions. Once the head rest is off, unzip the upholstery and slide it off the metal frame.

I removed the entire seatback and lumbar cushion. Found no problems at all in any of the metal. Also my floors are mint. The interior is amazing. I couldnt find a single thing, so i came to the asumption that a large person owned it at one time.

I used force and pulled on the seat back until it came level and now its perfect. Super happy and it feels so much better. Its still kinda slow though. haha
