Hi guys!

When I bought my car It had a gap between the fender and the door (drivers side). When I got it painted the shop fixed it But now 1 1/2 later it came back. I tryed to fix it but made it worse! :bang:, how can I fix this without bringing it to a body shop? Thanks

Here are some pics of the problem :nice:

open your hood and you will see bolts along the fender line...these bolts were probly not tightened righht .or possinly the torque from engine twist knocks it out of whack?
any way loosen these up and you will be able to slide the fender front and back..be verry carefull to not go too far or you know will damage fender and door...after you loosen the bolts you should get enough grip w.your hands to slide it along....after you align it nice tighten the end bolts to keep it straight first then the rest..
hope that helps

Thats what I did and it made it worse! . I untightened those fender bolts under the hood along with the fender bolt thats located when you open the door near the door hinge. After I did that I heard a poping sound and It never went back to place, I keep trying and trying but It won't go back.

what kind of condition are your door hinges in??

DO you have subframe connectors??? Any rust on the car? body sag??

No rust or sagging. The door closes find with a little force. No subframe connectors yet.

I had the same problem, there is a bolt at the bottom of the fender, I had a shim in there, once I took it out it lined up much better. I think that is caused by people jacking up the car under that fender. good luck.
