I believe there is a concrete sealer that is a lot cheaper than those epoxy products. I am getting ready to go to Lowe's to look for an air compressor so I will look around for it.

Back to topic: Sealers are good, but keep in mind you usually get what you pay for. I'm not sure how nice a sealers looks once applied, but epoxies look great and do the job well. My deciding factor would probably be a combination of ease of installation and how long one would last over the other.

what if i put down some good sealer, then primed and painted it with some strong latex paint

I saw on Hot Rod TV about 20 X 20 checker board sqaures black and whit that snap together. Does anyone know the name of that Company?

Will any of these floor epoxys fill little cracks and stuff so they'ed be unseen?? I'm thinking of doing the floor in my garage, but it's 30x35 and most stuff I've seen would be pricey

I think they have them at a company called California Car Cover,, but they are pretty pricey,,, Lee

Gary - Where are you going to purchase your tile from? I inquired about garage tile and the guy at Home Depot looked at me like I was crazy! I see no reason why that tile would not work! Imagine how much stuff gets spilled on it at grocery stores and department stores; I see them mopping it all the time. Put a light coat of wax on it and I'm sure it wouldn't stain either.

I was gonna get it at Lowes. Just get commercial grade tiles and wax the hell out of them. I am moving into the new house next week. I will take some pics when I get done.

I used an epoxy available from lowes at about $80 a gallon. I did the paint booth in my shop to make clean up easier and eliminate the dust that bare concrete seems to produce. The stuff is amazing. Easy to clean, nothing stains it, and it is hard as rocks. I can even use my engine hoist and stands with metal wheels and it doesn't even scratch it. Great stuff. 2 gallons will do about 250-300 sqft.
