Now that the car can get out of its own way it was time to rebuild my trusty work bench. I built the previous one 6 years ago very cheap and quickly. It was beaten down and worked over. Time for an upgrade.

I added some polyurethane so it will make oil spills easier to clean up and protect it longer. The bench I built in my last house used old stained closet doors as the tops and they were easier to clean up then my other untreated tops. More coats to come on the work top.

The patina only ads.

Squeak:

These make for putting on removable 3/4-round along edges. One of my favorite bench mods.

Car's back at the trans shop again. Trying to figure out why it intermittently leaks trans fluid. It leaked in my garage but won't leak for him. Damnedest thing ever.
