Is there a gas-filled strut kit available for the 94-95 cars? Classic Design Concepts has them for 99 and up cars. I really want to ditch the prop rod.

Redline Tuning makes a kit that I have on my hood, works awesome

It's decent, and there's also another one that's a step up from it. Not sure what the advantages are, since my kit does exactly what it's supposed to do....hold the hood up.

i think the step up is just chrome if i remember right. someone can correct me if i'm wrong.

They aren't chrome but polished stainless. This shows the differences: http://www.redlinetuning.com/QL-comp-chart.html

Not an SN95 but you can see the polished ones here on my Fox:

oh congrats on your article, by the way, Dave!!

As soon as I saw it, I thought to myself "I know that guy for sure"...interestingly enough, I know the guy who graced the previous issue's cover as well, we were at a pretty big car show together not too long ago, I've got some vids of us playing on the highway as well

Do you have a price on those kits? I got mine as a gift for my birthday, so I don't have the exact numbers....maybe you do

Thanks I think they were $120 or something.

I know Jeff too, he's real cool If you remember in his article, he thanked me for some how-to help w/the engine bay
