I noticed the other day, after I filled up, that my gauge showed just over
a half tank. I had the instrument panel out last year, but hadn't had any
problems. Is there a way to test the gauge to see if it's receiving the correct voltage from the gas tank. Also, is there a way to check the float
in the gas tank.

Id think itd be a problem with the sender. Youll prob have to take it out of the tank and check the resistance and full up, full down and check it across a sweep.
