OK, Mac cold-air intake and a Mac Pro-Chamber. What should the obvious expectation be? I was getting an average of 18 mpg per tank and yesterday I was shocked. I had about 100 miles on the trip and I put in almost 10 gallons. 10 mpg! I am embarassed to post this because either I had no idea that those mods would hurt mpg or I need to invest in a calculator. I filled up and reset the trip-o-meter to get a second measurement. This is my second post on Stangnet, so I may be posting in the wrong place anyway.

Thanks!

Something does not sound right. I have the mods in my sig, and I got 270 miles to the last tank and filled with 13.5 gallons. I was beating the living crap out of the car as well, because I just put the catback on and love the sound. I drive 50/50 hwy/city now.

Look I have more mods than that and I regularly get 24 mpg. you need to lay off the pedal. crap, I don't know how you could get that low mpg without having a gass leak.

Something's wrong...the listed mods won't do that.

makes me feel better

I have used about a quarter of a tank today, and I have about 50 miles on the trip. That is much better. I must have had trouble with my add-traction and sub-division ! Sometimes I really consider myself an idiot!

That's nothing to be happy about. When I fill mine up it doesn't drop down to 3/4 until about 80-85 miles.

Your cars got issues!

My car does that too. 80 miles on the 1st quarter, then somehow it's 100 miles at half.

Mine gets ~100 to the 3/4 mark. ~150 at the half and ~230 at the 1/4 mark. Then ~250 at the E.
