what is more beneficial for me, a gas pressure gauge, or oil pressure? what is involved in installing them?

EDIT: nevermind, i dont want to run a mechanical gas pressure line into my car, and electrical is too much money for now.

However, if I were to get a boost gauge, that runs from 30 in.Hg to 20psi, could i use it functionally as a vacuum gauge, if i didnt have a super charger? (the needle would never hit the psi side)

Yes, you could get a boost gauge to monitor vacuum.

I would have said an oil pressure gauge as without oil, your engine is gonna die

LOL. The vac/boost gauge works just fine (it gives you 'room to grow').

Good luck.

I use a boost/vac gauge for vacuum only. I'm n/a.

You can use a mechanical fuel pressure gauge and mount it outside on the cowl area. Thats what I did but its easier to do on a Fox stang and IMO looks better on a Fox. I run an electrical oil pressure gauge and an electrical coolant temp gauge in my middle a/c vents. Gauges are good
