Every time I fill up my 98 GT vert up at a gastation, it always overfills the tank. Any ideas on what is causing the pump not to stop, before it over fills my tank? After I fill up, it will spill out where the hose connects to the tank. After the gas falls below the tank hose, is when it finally stops. The only way for me to prevent this, is for me to stop filling the tank before it’s actually full. Any suggestion is appreciated, thanks!

I don't know if this would have anything to do with it, but my sisters Nissan Frontier had that problem and eventually nisssan did a recall on it and it turned out to be a flaw in the filler tube design that leads to the gas tank... but if it randomly started doing that i don't think that would be the problem... does this happen at just one specific gas station or several different ones?
