First Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

(and thanks to all you kind folks for helping me)

On my 66 to attach the gas pedal to the shaft all I have is a bolt with phillips head and threads near the head end. The attaching part is a flat black steel tab with a hole in it.

I know I am missing a "U" shapped spring of some sort, but I must be missing more.

Help appreciated.

Yep- Special machine screw, push-nut (often missing, even when new) and a V shaped spring.

Yeah that is the spring, now to figure out how it fits in, first I will have to order it.

The purpose of the spring is to push the top of the pedal toward the driver.
