Got a tank off the net and it does not have the mount for the fuel pressure sensor. Can I just drill a hole and mount it?? Also I broke the other lil fuel evap valve and now I cant find one that fits. I went to ford today and they gave me one they say is made to fit the tank but it looks MUCH different (way smaller). Anyone have these issues when changing the tank on a 98 GT? I replaced the motor with a 32V so if I can eleminate the valve let me know.

well first off a 1998 tank ONLY fits another 1998 Mustang, other years will NOT work wthout major mods.
this could be the reason the evap valve doesn't match-up

GOt the old one still in there. Just found the valve at the zone. I have an extra sensor in there, i believe its the tank temp sensor. I guess that the 98 tank really is a stand alone year. Had the same kind of problem finding the fuel pump for my car. Had to go with a Focus pump. Is this a returnless system??
