hey guys, i know as a stang owner im not supposed to really worry about gas mileage. But i need to know how much you all are getting out of a tank, especially from those of u who drive hard. I have a feeling i have a serious lack of power and gas mileage but i need some numbers from you all so i can be sure. I get about 200 miles out of a tank maybe a little less. Where do u all stand in relation to that?

You might need a tune up. I get 225 a tank from all city driving with A/C on. I got on it a lot but I never floored it.

mostly city driving I'm getting ~18-20mpg, not sure what that adds up to for a full tank since I refill with about a quarter tank left.

I get around 160 per tank! But I have 4.10's and a heavy foot! 95% of my driving is city driving.

I get a average of 240-250 a tank city driving and I get over 300+ doing majorly highway or all highway. I believe we have a 14 gallon tank? I never figured out what it was mpg I just hit the trip everytime I fill her up.

We have a 15.7 gallon tank. In 99+ cars, the low fuel light comes on with 3 gallons remaining.

alright so i know im not getting as much mileage as i should be, and i know my power is lacking cause i should be hauling ass in my car and it seems like its just not pushing thru 1st and 2nd the way it should be... i know i need a new air filter, and that can effect my gas too. I just replace my gas filter and cleaned my fuel system changed the oil and filter using synthetics and fleshed cleaned and bled my coolant. Outside of my airfilter what else might i need to change or adjust?

I get any where from 18 - 25 mpg depending on where I'm driving, and I really like to get on it, so I'm sure it could be better

I get about 15MPG in my convertible and I get on it CONSTANTLY. I floor it all over the place. I also blip the trottle alot when I come up to a stoplight or into a parking lot. Not only that, but I also have the 3.73 gears working against me. I like to keep it in 4th gear when going about 45-50 which puts my revs around 2100. This is so I have the power available whenever I want, as opposed to 5th gear at like 1400. AND I shift down a gear when coming to a stop (like 3-2) Times that I do cruise lightly, I can probably get about 18MPG. Highway, with getting on it after every toll, cruising at 75-85, and then a little around town driving for about a 1/4 tank, I can get 20MPG.

I usually fill up around the 170 mark from like a 1/8 tank. Hope this helps!
