Gasket Kit or seperate?

I have to put the motor back together and I'm wondering if it would be better to get a gasket kit from Jegs or buy each part's gasket serperately?

I need: oil pan, head, lower and upper intake, exhaust, and TB gaskets. I also have to get a new pump and shaft.

What do you guys recomend for the pump and shaft? I just need the thing to work.

I just went through this. If you had the intake or heads ported then you need to buy them separate. If it's stock you should be okay with a felpro kit. I had to buy separate due to gasket matching the ported items.

I bought my oil pump and heavy duty shaft from Latemodel Resto Supply, but price check Summit and Jegs. Just a regular pump and shaft will be fine.

stop by any parts stores, they sell full engine gasket kits, top end kits, bottom end kits along with the seperate gaskets, best way to go

Alright, I think with the first motor I have to put together I'll just get whatever advance has, and then get better stuff for my better motor.
