Gasket Question

Ive been having some rough idle problems latey that I thought were attributed to a couple broken bolts in my intake. Well I pulled the upper intake and noticed about a 1/2" break in the gasket between two of the ports. Would this effect the idle? Or is it pretty minor?

ya vacum leak..................just re-place the gasket.....if it doesnt fix it you have some other gremlin.....

I looked at the gasket again and I exagerated a bit. Its about a 1/4" gap. I didnt think that would cause and vacuum leak because the break was between ports and not on the edge of the gasket? Hrm...
