Here is my stang, jacked up at Gasoline alley.

Time for new front bearings, rotors, and pads. That's rice in the background, my court is like a rice paddy. Don't worry though, I'm representin'.

I think I'll paint my calipers after I put on a new master cylinder, after I bleed the brakes. My stang is one money-hungry little animal!

nice car i love the verts since my first stang was a 2.3 vert. ive got a set of those rims i think your car would look great with a set of pony rims IMO

yah .. i think the converts look great with pony's ... it would be my choice ... lol i'm glad i no longer have the polycasts ... they've become my winter wheels.

I just did the exact same thing as you ... new rotors, calipers, pads etc. Also grabbed a set of 10 holes for free, and i won a set of tires from crappy tire .. so things worked out well .. new front brakes, wheels & tires ... i think in total for misc. parts, it cost me $25 for all that.

Thanks for the compliments guys, I wish I could afford a set of pony rims. For a while I watched them on eBay, but it seemed that every set went for $700.
I got a nice set of new Ford 4-lug steel rims(cheap on eBay) I am going to put on, with a set of spacers for the rears. I figure I might paint them black(they are silver now) and use chrome lugs. I don't think my little horse needs big wheels and tires right now, but I think I'll try and get a lower profile tire(when I can afford them).
It's a real shame, I have a set of 2003 pony rims that I got off eBay. They were factory take-offs, and I got them for a good price. I put them on my late Crown Vic, and kept them when the Vic went to the bone yard. The tread is still super deep, and the five spokes are some of the more attractive base model rims Ford put out.
But they are five-lugs! And I don't have the means to do the conversion right now. So they are just sitting.

Sweet rims man, where did you get them?

I have the same ones and I love them, they look great and during the winter they dont rust for some odd reason. all you have to do is spray them down and they come clean.






Just joking. I know what they are. But I do love them, they make great winter rims! looks like your missing the chrome ring that goes on the outside though.

btw...2.3's have went as fast as 7.80@188mph in the 1/4...I bet your "hot rod" is faster than that though
