What you can do instead is take off the needles and paint them red like I did. But the PITA part is to calibrate them, its actually very simple just make note of where the needles are before you take off the needles. To change the color to red you need to sand off the yellow on the bottom of the needle and paint it red or whatever. you also need to break the bottom of the black part so you can expose the whole needle. It will still work without the bottom black part. You will understand what I'm saying if you decide to do it this way.

this is a 95 mustang cluster with the needles painted laser red. Its my car.

looks like you didn't calibrate the oil pressure needle correctly, unless it always runs that high

Am I the only one that likes the stock gauges? Other then wishing the needes were lime green I like it.

I did a LED swap on my Ram and it looks awesome. Not sure how it would work on a stang though I used blue leds

I think you can a little. It's not that bad in person. I keep it turned up.

I got them from superbrightleds.com. I don't really remember the part numbers, there were a couple different ones. Not sure if they would be the same for a stang

Super Bright LEDs - Miniature Wedge Base Bulbs

194/168 sockets (same socket, there are just two different numbers that describe it for whatever reason)

WLED-x5 is the bulb that works the best.

I was thinking about getting the SMD ones that covers 360*. So i don't get no dark spots on the cluster, Which one do i need?

Just as i said last time i did the LED thing on the cluster, i ended up with buch of dark spots, i wasn't too happy with results...

I was going to buy different gauges but I think I'll be just fine with cheap LED bulbs instead

anybody know of white face gauges that have a blue film on the back of the overlay (similar to stock ones) that can be shaved/saved off to allow the use of red led lights
