gauge help

I've got a mechanical gauge on my 98, and from experience with the setup, I would have gone with electric. First, if you don't already have the gauge, it comes with no lines whatsoever. Second, in order to connect the gauge, you must go to a hydraulic shop to get the necessary adapters for your fuel rails. In addition, if you want to mount it inside the vehicle, you MUST get a pressure gauge isolator PN 5282, which retails for 95 dollars from Summit. After everything was said and done, I was out 150 dollars for just the fuel pressure gauge, which is about the same price for the electric, and it wouldn't have been half the PITA to install.

Sorry for the rant, but I have said my piece. I'll post pics of my setup later.
