Gauge problems

Hello all, my gauges aren't working properly but the car runs. The speedometer and tachometer don't work at all, can't see my mileage and the oil light and check engine are always on among others. I am also getting a message that says check charging system. Had the battery and alternator checked and both are good. Any suggestions
