could a pete jackson gear drive create a vibration in a motor? and also, is there any tolerance, as far as being out of round, on a crank pulley? can a pulley being slightly out of round create a vibration?
I have never used one on a ford, but did use a few on some sbc's. The gears had plenty of clearence between them so I don't see how it could cause a vibration. The only way I could see possible for it to cause a vibration is if the gears fit together very tight. And if that were the case, I don't think the gears would last long at all. Hope this helps.
