I already ordered my 4.10 gears for my 04 GT, I just wanted to know if I needed anything else for the install besides fluid and friction modifier. The gears said the come with a shim kit so I have that covered anything else I need? My Gt only has 15k on it so the bearings should still be good.

tools, and lots of them, be a good idea to have airtools, you'll most likely need an impact gun to get the pinion bolt off...you need several different sizes of sockets as well, and having a heavy hammer wont hurt when you go to get the pinion out of the housing. be sure to take your time and dont lose track of where everything goes...all in all its not a really hard job, just time consuming and messy...

In terms of supplies, you'll also need some silicone sealant for the rear cover and I'd buy some Prussian Blue dye so that you can see the pattern on the ring gear (the white dope is not real helpful).
