Some other things to consider...

take note of their hourly rate.

look for quality level of shop. Some have to send parts out to have bearings pressed on or off cause they don't have the equipment.

ask them if they have the proper tools and skill set for adjusting the backlash.

inspect the parts before you hand them off. nothing sucks worse than having a ring with a defect installed, only to have to pay the hourly rate to have it removed and a new one put in, with the added expense of new seals.

Mine was about $400 at the dealership, and that was just labor (but my car was still under warranty and the parts were genuine Ford, so the warranty was not void with the mods made)

200-300 is a damn good deal (as long as they know what they are doing)

Ive done a few sets in my garage for people for $250 (they supply all new parts/fluid) I always rebuilt their trac-loks at the same time too.

yeh the place Im taking it to knows what they are doing its a pretty popular shop in town where I live and I always take my car there if I have problems I cant solve. We also have a good relationship with the owner of the shop.
