I plan on eventually putting a KB super charger on my car but i would like to put the gears in now. iv'e been throwing around 3.73's or 4.10's. Im just scared that if i put in 4.10's that it would rev to quikly and not get the full potential out of the engine. what do you guys think?

4.10's for an auto, 3.73's for a manual.. seems to be the tried and true best combo for twin screw (according to those who have actually used them both.)

I have 4.10s for my auto. They're wickedly fun on the street. However, I am a bit concerned that I'll run out of gear on the 1/4. I really need to run my car at the track to see how effective or ineffective they are...

try it out first with the 4.10's if it seems that you are running out of gear fast then swap it down to 3.73's

Easiest way to find out, find an open stretch of road, floor it til your trip odo says you went a quarter mile, and see if you're out of gear at that point.

I doubt you trap 150+ in the 1/4mi

gearing isn't the same as it was in the 5.0's

3.73s without a question. You want some time to actually enjoy the boost.

3.73's - kb's have a lot of low end torque and the 4.10's would make it even harder to get out of the hole w/o spinning your wheels

I could not imagine having 4.10's, first and second are at red line pretty quick with the KB and 3.73's

if you get the right mods for tons of traction, then you can go with the 4.10's. otherwise stick with the 3.73's. it's all wasted power if you can't get it to the ground.
