Thanks for starting this thread. As many newbies as we get on here, we don't want to lead them down the wrong path. With the informative header post, we got a great start. In fact, we need a FAQ that is a sticky a the top. I nominate the first two authors for this straight-up, fact-based "Money Wasting Mods" FAQ as:

MustangLife- Long Tube Headers
KirkyG- Centrifugal Superchargers

I knew the poster was joking and I was merely adding a list of contributing authors. Anyone shopping/researching for superchargers in the last 6-months will remember your contributions to their tech questions about their Procharger/Paxton/Vortech and turning the thread into a "KB is God, centris are crap"-debate. I even remember CobraKiller getting irritated with your stupid posts. The best was the "Turbos are crap because the turbo muffles some of the noise and I want my car loud because its a muscle car." So I was thinking you could do a "best of" of your posts and contribute them to the imaginary FAQ I proposed.

That argument was a waste of my time. Kenne Bell has all of their attentions now. Tim is even a dealer for KB now . There was just alot of misinformation about kenne bells. The only thing i ever posted was that the blower has instant boost, it has the same top end as any other supercharger, and it doesn't "use more gas because your always in boost". If thats offends anyone or irritates anyone its probably because they are just brand loyal because spent their hard earned money on it. Also, the pro centri only guys could not admit that a twin screw instant boost supercharger is just plain more fun to drive. Its all in what your looking for and i've always said that. If you are building just a track monster why waste your money on the KB? You dont need low rpm power on high rpm dumps with high potential hp. 95% of people need either a daily driver or a track+daily driver in which case I FEEL as almost eveyrone else does the KB is the better supercharger.

The problem is that i assumed people were here to discuss their vehicles and learn more about what we can do to make their better faster and more fun to drive. I guess that was my main mistake

BTW, DO NOT quote me when your quote is inaccurate. I did not say turbo's were crap. I said FOR ME im just as concerned about how my car SOUNDS as it is fast. And from what i've heard turbochargers considerably muffle the sound of the exhaust. THAT TO ME is unacceptable. Does that clear up what i said?
