I've had my car 3 and a half years now and the mod bug has finally hit me but upon my upgrades with me not being the first owner I have no way of telling what gears I'm running the in the car. It seems the rpms are kinda high for normal driving speeds so I was hoping to get feedback on rpm ranges 5th gear from the 5 speed owners. Currently as it stands I'm right there at 2k rpms cruising 60 mph and 2300ish at 70. I watched a few vids and seen one guy running 4.10's at those rpms at that speed. The only questionable thing would be did he calibrate his speedo same goes for my car dunno if it was ever done.
Next thing is wheel lips. I ordered a set of 10 anni sve cobra wheels from late model resto and got a little curb rash and it left a black residue on it which I had to dremel off to help it be less noticeable. Was wondering if anybody knew what those lips are made of by chance so I can use the right polishing compound to get some of the dullness out of it.
