Gears question on a 2002 gt

i just want to double check with you guys if the 02 gt has a 8.8 rearend and if svo gears will fit in there? i know its kind of a stupid question, dont beat me up too much.

Get new gears from FRPP. Stay away from used ones or non-Ford ones.

i went with frpp 3:73 ring and pinion in my 02 gt conv. 5spd.i plan on going with a supercharger, otherwise a 4:10 if i kept it NA.

yeah, get them brand new. I bought and set (3.73) and the UPS website says they will be here friday....WOOT

anyways. yes you have a 8.8 rear end and you have 3.27's stock i think. you could get 3.55's, 3.73's, 3.90's (motive), 4.10's, 4.30's etc etc... i would go with FRPP but hey thats just me. I have heards that if you plan to stay N/A then go with the 4.10s, but if you are going to go FI then get like 3.90's or 3.73's.....but either way good luck with your choice. i heard you will really feel the diff. i'll let you know how mine turns out.
