Would 4.10 gears be to much for a spray car?
I would like to run at least 4.10's but i want to use the 26'' et streets i have left over from my T/A. I have an 04 5-speed GT.

WRONG! If you run 4.10's at the track you will run out of gear. (100 shot) 4th tops out at 114mph with 26" wheels. You would need 28" slicks or 3.73 or don't run at the track or don't spray a 100 shot.

1st gear for me N/A with 3.73's seems like its over in an instant.. i'd go 3.73 for spray

3.73's is all you want to go WITH ANY spray. Anything more agressive and you might as well launch in 2nd gear.
WMS004 is right on. It's over fAST ALREADY with 3.73's alone.

I've swapped gears so many times my sister can do a gear set up from watching me.

That's not entirely true either. There are plenty of people launching with 4.10's and spray from first gear and have no problem doing so.

Someone correct me if Im wrong, but couldnt you just wait to spray until 2nd or 3rd gear? That way launching wouldnt be a problem. I think 4.10's and nitrous would be awesome. Ive been thinking about it myself, just a 75 shot though.

word, on 26" i think 4.10's run out around 112-113, 390 would be closer to 117, 3.73 around 121-122mph
