I was hoping to get a gear that will help my 1/4 mile and improve my top speed thanks.

i have 3.73 and my top speed is the same as 3.27 145 mph but better acceleration. And from what i know 4.10 is probably the same ...you still have enough rpm to go with.

thanks, Ive already cranked 145 with my standard gear with just a K&N and I let off but she still wanted to pull. After the Magnaflow O/R X pipe, K&N Air Filter with modified air silence I was able to push 135 with ease in 3rd gear (overdrive off) at 5190rpm with 2 passengers plus driver and 2 large bags 530lbs. My friend was driving and he said he still wanted to pull like a jet. So 3:73's would help my acceleration even more? right on.

more $$.....3.73 can be had for like 130 3.90s are closer to 200 and then 4.10 are back to 130

Dont know man those were another consideration of mine.

nobody has 3.90s because FRPP doesnt make them and that's what most people opt for because of the OE quality and fit.

your top speed never changes with those gears, besides that you shouldn't be finding out what your top speed really is.

Well its like the saying goes.... just because you CAN doesnt mean that you SHOULD... That said it would be nice to know that I COULD if I wanted to is all.

Mustangtuning.com has the Motive 3.90 gears for $152.99 Not too bad a price imo.
