Its true.

Just did the plugs and fuel filter, and my slight bogging problem is gone, the car idles and starts smoother, revvs quicker and accelerates smoother. The fuel filter was puking out brown nasty gas by the way... not something id want to feed my engine.

Ill probaly Seafoam it soon as well, although I dont know if that would foul up my new plugs...

Do the Seafoam. I only did the Seafoam, and changed the pcv, and oil this weekend, and the car runs hella better. Especially after the pcv.

thats not a performance mod,,,.. you didnt add or free up horsepower you just fixed a problem lol. But what the hell it helps

That is why my 98 with over 98,000 miles runs better than newer cars. maintainence is key.

Yeah I love PM... people should always bring there cars in for PM... In fact I think all fords should come right to me for PM because thats where I make the most money

I'd bet he did add or free up some horsepower if his car was that fugged up. Maybe not compared to stock #'s, but compared to the power he was running!

Yup, exactly what I meant. I know its not adding any more power, but its restoring some that was lost due to the nasty plugs and clogged fuel filter.

Hopefully it will boost my MPG's a little as well.
