General question about any mustang..or car.. hit rev limiter spins bearing?

i'm not going to give the best answer, but my understanding of the rev limiter, is to limit how high you can rev the engine, so you do not destroy anything.
its a chance thats taken....yes its designed to HELP protect it...but does it always...no. If somebody was ALWAYS smackin the limiter, im sure it may have messed a few things up..
The stock shortblock should be able to handle bouncing off the limiter. You'd likely float valves, or lose a rocker arm before hurting the rotating assembly. The limiter just helps keep things in check.
Spinning bearings? as far as that's concerned I'd say no. Now if it was constant...then maybe....but I still doubt it
i dont think i've hit the limiter in my car, i've never really had a chance to find it, wheres it at?
i don't want to sit in front of my house and rev the car, because its decently loud, and my car burns oil pretty damn bad. and any time that i'm winding out the gears, i shift before it.

i got a friend who likes to shift @ about 7k, i guess he likes the person behind him to see flames come out of his dumps. but yeah hes going on his 3rd block(first two were stockers with anything over 80k+)... drives like an a$$hole
I did a gasket swap on my intake and after I put it together I took it for a ride. I didnt check the throttle cable and about 15 min into the ride my it got stuck wide open. It was stuck at 7,000+RPMS for about 7 seconds until I turned it off. My heart was comming out of my chest, I thought I killed it. I rerouted the cable so that it wouldnt bind, drove it off and luckily nothing was wrong.
If I remember this right:
95gt's with t5's have the highest factory rev limiter at 7,500RPMs.
Other 302's are limited to 6,500
