MSD Digital 6AL rev limiter setting

I know when setting the rev limiter on the 6AL you turn the left ‘knob’ clockwise; and when wanting to set to NO limiter you turn the knob counter clockwise.

My question is: when turning counters is there a hard stop when reaching the max counter clockwise direction?

There is no mechanical stop.

If you rotate [over] 360 degrees then the setting should roll over.

Personally, I would endeavor to [not] turn it past 360 degrees. I'm only saying that because of other electronics I've encountered where over rotating ruined the component. I do not think that it applies to the MSD, however.

Thanks. That’s sort of what I thought.
