I watched my brother-in-law go from 90+mph to zero on his CBR929 Two Brothers Racing Edition... we looked in horror as we thought he was dead...

Good thing he had that HELMET on

He had slowed to about 20mph (roughly from watching) when he flipped but helmet still broke which (not witch) is made to do.

The interviews he did make him look like a dumbass, a stupid jock, and riding a crotch rocket with out a helmet removed all doubt, he may not deserve it, but the only one he has to blame is the toothless and broken face in the mirror

Most of the players have it written into their contracts that if they get hurt riding a motorcycle, racing or some other "dangerous" activity and they lose playing time on the field they don't get paid. Kellen Winslow Jr, blew his knee out riding a motorcycle last year and missed the season. Guess what no paycheck, at least from my understanding.

In the end its his body and I figure he should be able to do what he wants with it but its the teams money and they should be able to do what they want with it. Riding a bike with out a helmet

Did anyone see the interview with Terry Bradshaw?

Basically called Ben an idiot and to park the bike. Rather amusing.

Hasn't anyone learned fron ex-Duke/Chicago Bulls player Jayson Williams? This guy not only got ****ed up on a bike, but he lost millions in the process. Nice Job Ben, way to go.

The NFL and every other sport should ban their players from doing stupid **** like this. They are apperently too stupid to figure it out for themselves.

I know if I ivested millions into someone like these sports team owners do, I sure as hell would spell everything out for them so this type of **** does not happen.

Some stories state that his Permit experied in March. The State doesnt require you to wear a Helmet, but he really should have. I am just glad that he survived the crash and hope he gets better. He could have been the safest Motorcycle driver out there, but he couldnt control the 62 year old woman that decided to make a quick left turn right in front of him!

You know, everyone keeps calling him a Dumbass, yeah he screwed up, but how many people on the Board can say they have never done anything stupid before? Hopefully we got away without serious injury while making our mistakes!

We've all done dumb things, but riding a motorcycle without a helmet is down right moronic.

Not to mention, a friggin Hayabusa. One of the most powerful street/race bikes available.

Its not against the law in PA and its not like he was speeding through town, a freakin 62 year old woman decided to make a quick left turn right in front of him.

They already have some new designed football helmet ready for him. I hope that he is able to retain his talent and did not lose anything from the crash.
