How many miles does it have? $7995 seems a bit high for a 98GT. For that price, I would look for 99-01 GT's. These have a nice bump in hp due to PI (Performance Improved) intake, heads, and cam. Hell, you could probably find a 96-98 32v cobra for that price!

yeah plans have changed. i have a friend who has a 98 cobra and he is willin to trade me for my ranger. im not sure how many miles but the motor and trans just got rebuilt not to long ago. the motor now has the mach 1 crank, pistons, rods, etc. full exhaust(o/r x w/ flows) drag radials, shifter. i think thats it. but thats what im gonna do.

it needs paint but it will do for a DD. ill be sure to post pics. btw itsblack on black

try n go lower if u can. The 98 GT's are siiick, but like mine, if its not a PI, your gonna have fun getting into the 13's. unless u have cams, blower, heads, or whatever. Thats why im getting it swapped as we speak. But congrats bro. the SN95's are clean bro.

Mazen and 98Cobra, he said he was going with a Cobra instead.

My question to you OP is did he swap a whole Mach1 block into the Cobra? If so that car lost alot of its value and collectability loosing its Italian Aluminium block.

And like I said in 5.0 Talk, the Cobra will smoke the 5.0 even with the 331 conversion. Also tell him to leave the 4.10s in it as the 3.27s suck. These engines like to rev

no its not the mach 1 block. it actually has a 2 bolt main block in it cuz the motor was blown when he got it. the motor is in really good shape. i drove it today and man does it feel nice!!! i wish i could leave the 4.10s in but its just too much for a DD. but im not after a perfect car here. its just a DD lol

and i know the cobra will still smoke the 5.0 anyday lol

OK there is the reason right there is the reason for the trade. Without that block its a bit heavier and not as strong. That would kill the cars value in the open market. And if I bought one like that without knowing, when I went for the rebuil id be pissed
But still a great trade and DD IMO

EDIT: Does the engine look like the one in my avatar?

Sorry if I came off as against it, I liked the Cobra deal from the begining. Its too bad it dosent have the Aluminum block anymore but as a DD its still good, just keep it off the rev limiter
