I'm buying an 86 with a 351w in it I'm not sure of what all is done to the motor I just know that it has 69 heads on it with bigger valves, mild cam, intake and 4.10's in the rearend and a c4. The best the car has run was 12.30's dont know the mph with a sixty foot at a 1.7 to 1.8 on some damn dirt track cara tires. I know a guy with a set of edelbrock aluminum heads there either victor jr's or performers there the ones that are really for racing. Also I already have a set of slicks and skiinnies on drag lites. How far into the 11's yall think the car could get with the heads and slicks?

if you gave them a good porting job and shaved them to raise the compression ratio i would say very low 11 second run.the victor jr`s is what i mean the performer heads are not as good for draggin

I forgot to mention suposably that almost a$1000 worth of work on the exhaust side. The heads dont have valves in them how much would a good set of valves run? It has guide plates just no vlaves.

depending on how much port work is done to the c9 heads....you might be able to get it into the 11s as is.... my 331 with c9s went 12.06
