you guys are funny. a tune will not clear it up especially on an n/a car. after my cam install it ran fine. something else is wrong. double check everything. once again the car should run fine, it may not idle but will not miss and stumble as described.

I disagree on the first sentence, but I do imagine something else needs to be fixed in order to get the missing and hesitation taken care of.

There have been quite a few memebers on this board that needed a tune before their car would idle right after a cam install. Not everyone needs one, but no two cars are the same.

i agree with you. just saying somthing else is wrong if its stumbling. just never seen one have a driving issue with cams. its always idle issues. but who knows! just dont wanna see him take it to get tuned and them not being able to do it cause of problems

yeah , i do NOT think the stumble has anything to do with the tune, i real think it has to do with the plugs or plug gap

just a thought, but i got rid of the ERG system.......

I would change the plugs first. If that doesn't help then start looking for other things. You didn't damage the plugs during the swap by chance did you?

Your need to run a colder plug with a closer gap. Like a 22C or 22P - look for a AGSF

i did a little research, so AGSF means 8 threads, and 22 is 1 step colder then stock, and c means copper?

is the only reason to run a colder plug is to stay away from detonation?

and i also read to only gap these plugs to .35?

Tr6s for an n/a application? You can get tr6s way cheaper than that. You should be able to get a set for $20.

IGNORE THIS IF YOU'RE STOCK OR JUST HAVE BOLT ONS

What he wants is a .48-.50 gap guys (for the people searching). I gap to .48 and just make it semi-snug, not enough to scratch the electrode, making it about .49.

well the plugs made a HUGE!!! difference, they cleared up about 98% of the stumble i was having, but theres still a VERY little stumble between 2500-3000rpms, but it runs great everywhere else!!!
